Amit Basnet is the Chairman of NOOA Holdings and a fourth-generation hotelier whose career spans international cinema, luxury hospitality, and real estate investment across the UAE, United Kingdom, and Europe.

As the founder of AB International, he has produced and executive-produced an extensive body of film projects — including major Bollywood productions — and co-produced critically acclaimed international titles recognised at festivals including Venice and Jio MAMI Mumbai. His Dubai real estate portfolio encompasses multiple commercial and residential properties, and he is actively expanding NOOA Holdings' hospitality footprint across the Middle East and beyond.

Amit Basnet is the Chairman of NOOA Holdings and a fourth-generation hotelier who has built one of the most distinctive multi-sector portfolios in the UAE and beyond — spanning international film production, luxury hospitality, real estate, and structured investment.

He brings to NOOA Holdings a rare combination of creative entrepreneurship and operational rigour. As the founder and driving force behind AB International, established in 2017 and now operating across four countries, Amit has produced and executive-produced a body of work spanning Bollywood and international co-productions — among them Ra.One, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, alongside the critically celebrated Sahela, co-produced with Dev Patel and premiered at the Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival. His film KNOT was selected for the Venice Film Festival — a testament to the global reach of his creative vision.

In Dubai, Amit owns a substantial portfolio of commercial and residential real estate — evidence of a disciplined, long-horizon approach to capital deployment that has defined his career. His hospitality interests — grounded in a fourth-generation family legacy — extend from the United Kingdom to the UAE, where he is actively expanding under the NOOA Holdings umbrella.

Amit is also the founder of ICINEX, an OTT platform dedicated to bringing South Asian and international cinema to global audiences, and Gooflys, a Dubai-based travel agency specialising in premium corporate and leisure travel. He commands a social media following of over 410,000 on Instagram, reflecting his influence across entertainment and investment circles.

Dr. Krishnamoorthy is the Group CFO of NOOA Holdings, bringing over four decades of financial leadership to one of the region's most dynamic multi-vertical investment platforms. His career spans Fortune 500 corporations, publicly traded companies, leading non-banking financial institutions, major marine enterprises, and the Middle East's largest travel agency groups — giving him a uniquely broad understanding of institutional finance, capital markets, and cross-sector value creation.

Over the past fifteen years, Dr. Krishnamoorthy has served as CFO across multiple industries in the Middle East, where he has honed deep expertise in investor relations, regulatory compliance, strategic financial planning, and M&A execution. He has been instrumental in designing financial architectures that position organisations for entry into US public markets — an area of direct strategic relevance to NOOA Holdings' long-horizon capital markets trajectory.

At NOOA Holdings, he is responsible for overseeing the group's financial operations, treasury management, and capital deployment framework — ensuring that every acquisition, partnership, and investment decision is grounded in disciplined financial analysis and governed by the highest standards of institutional accountability.

Dr. Krishnamoorthy holds a Ph.D. in Finance and MIS from Trinity College, Spain, an MBA in Finance from the International University, Missouri, USA, and degrees in Commerce and Law from Kerala University. He holds certifications in Business Analytics (IIM Ahmedabad), Financial Analytics (Oxford University), Leading with Finance (Harvard University), Collaborative Finance (Cambridge University), and IFRS (ACCA, UK).
